So, now it begins, the healing process. Surgery was delayed by 3 hours, giving me plenty of opportunity to back out. But I didn't and I am laying here, hurting. It's puffy and tight from the swelling and, of all things, my pinkie toe hurts from being wrapped tightly. I have to wiggle it by hand because I have yet to figure out how to wiggle it without moving the other toes. Moving the big toe is a BIG pain. Ice is my friend, as is pain medication.
Can't wait for it to be pain free and healed.
